It’s celebrations all round at Baggeridge following the news that five of its projects have been shortlisted for this year’s national brick awards.

Organised by the Brick Development Association (BDA), the annual awards recognise and reward excellence in design and construction using brick.

Baggeridge Brick doesn’t just ensure that its manufacturing processes are as green as possible but it is also committed to eco-friendly distribution.

Barry Proctor Services, which provides logistics services for Baggeridge, now boasts a ‘Euro 5’ compliant vehicle, an emissions standard which isn’t set to be mandatory until 2009. The DAF XF 105 lorry features a special facility called AdBlue which destroys harmful particles before they enter the atmosphere, ensuring emissions are as clean as they can be.
