Baggeridge has introduced the B-BrickŪ, a simple grooved product
that enables traditional bond patterns to be made using modern
bricklaying techniques without the need for half bricks.
 Advantages
The B-BrickŪ allows bricklayers to introduce patterns such as
English Bond in buildings using cavity walls. As the need for
half bricks is eliminated, the B-BrickŪ reduces labour time
and wastage, providing an inexpensive way to construct varied
bond patterns in projects using modern construction techniques.
How it works
With a false joint to one stretcher face of the B-BrickŪ, when
turned outward, it can be used to create header bond patterns.
For stretcher bond, the product is simply reversed.
Development
Developed in Belgium by Baekelmans-Hemus Ltd, the B-BrickŪ is
manufactured exclusively in the UK by Baggeridge and is available
in Red Multi Rudgwick Stock. Other types and colours will be
available soon.
