Baggeridge Brick,
with factories in Sedgley, Waresley, Hartlebury, Kidderminster
and Rudgwick in West Sussex, has received a supplier award
from one of the UK’s largest housebuilders in recognition
of its outstanding business performance.
George Wimpey North Midlands’ annual awards, now in
their tenth year, recognise and reward supplier excellence.
Baggeridge was announced amongst the housebuilders’
top five suppliers at a presentation ceremony held recently
at Oxley Park Golf Club, with the manufacturer commended for
its consistently high standards of quality, service, delivery
and value for money, based on votes received from site staff
and head office personnel.
Warren Baggott, senior buyer for George Wimpey North Midlands
comments: “We feel it’s incredibly important to
recognise our suppliers who have a positive impact on our
business. More than 50 suppliers were vying for an award this
year which goes to highlight just how sought after these accolades
are. We are delighted to have Baggeridge on board –
the company continually exceeds our expectations and their
win is truly deserved.”
Commenting on the award win, Neil Gibbons, regional sales
manager for Baggeridge said: “We are one of George Wimpey’s
major suppliers and have worked for them for more than 20
years so it gives me great pleasure that the hard work of
the entire team at Baggeridge has been recognised.
“'We are proud to be named as one of their top five
suppliers and we’ll strive to achieve even better results
in the years to come.”
