All Baggeridge Brick sites fully covered by PPC Part A2 Permits.

Waresley Brickworks susscesfully certified to ISO 14001.

Waresley Brickworks undergoes phase 1 of ISO 14001 certification.  Phase 2 in early 2006.

Hartlebury 1 & 2 succesfully verified to EMAS with Lloyds Quality Assurance.  Also gains certification to ISO 14001 (2004).

Appointment of Mr John Sandford - Operations Director - Technical to oversee matters including Environmental Management.

Assisted in the preperation of the Brick Development Association (BDA) document, 'A Sustainable Strategy for the Brick Industry'.  First set of results published for KPI's under BDA Sustainability Strategy.

Succesful recerification of Hartlebury 1 & 2 to EMAS following changes to the EMAS standard.

Co-authorship of British Ceramic Confederation Environmental Management Guidelines. Chairmanship of joint Brick Development Association/British Ceramic Confederation Sustainable Development Group.

Business Commitment to the Environmental Award, National Major Commendation.
Co-authorship of the British Ceramic Confederation Extraction and Restoration Guidelines.

The cerification of Hartlebury 1 and 2 factories to EMAS, the Eco-Management and Audit Scheme.

Appointed of Mr Simon Ingram as Planning, Estates and Environmental Manager.

Introduction of Environmental Management Systems to all factories.

Appointment of Environment Director, John Sharpe and Environment Surveyor,Andrew Fletcher, to establish environmental management systems in the Environment and Landsource Department.
